NEST NY
Overview
NEST NY is a leading fragrance lifestyle brand offering a full range of innovative and award-winning home, fine, personal care and fragrance technology products. They started out as a retainer client but were then ready for a full redesign with Tomorrow. I was the sole and lead UX designer on the project and am still leading UX on this account post-launch.
Discovery
I first took the time to learn about past engagements with this client to understand what’s already been done and learn about the brand. I then conducted the same Discovery workshops we typically carry out in order to gather requirements, learn about product complexities, and dig into usability gaps in the experience.
Design
My focus on this project was twofold:
1. Improve the product finding journey throughout the experience for both users who know what they're looking for and those who need guidance.
2. Remove barriers to purchase through ecommerce best practices and PDP optimization. Leverage merchandising opportunities to increase basket size.
